During my recent stay at this two-star hotel, I found a blend of charm and convenience, especially for those keen on exploring the nearby Lac du Esparron. The outdoor terrace and garden area were perfect for lounging with a book—quite the luxurious experience after cycling all day. While my room was modern and equipped with necessary amenities like a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, it lacked some expected comforts, notably air conditioning and a fridge. The absence of a restaurant on-site pushed us into the delightful village of Riez, just a short walk away, where dining options abound. The service was friendly, with a helpful staff, though minor quirks—like an unresponsive bathroom door and some missing toiletries—did slightly detract from the experience. At about €100 per night, this hotel strikes a decent balance between value and comfort, but you may wish to keep your expectations in check.
